“The deplorable actions of developers that I have witnessed in the past two decades of living in downtown Ottawa is completely unacceptable. There are dozens of new unaffordable condo buildings and they are tearing down buildings that are not in disrepair and leaving empty properties. Now they want to evict people to tear down a building this is deplorable and unacceptable and needs to be stopped! We are in a housing and homelessness crisis yet developers are still being approved for unaffordable projects while evicting low-income tenants! ”
